These satellite images were obtained from this site and a description is here. The Terra image is recorded at approx noon CST and the Aqua image is approx 2 hrs later at 2pm CST. I've found a good view of the lake is typically only possible every few days due to cloud cover. This site gives a good indication of cloud cover for the day. Fall 2011
